We had a great time celebrating my big birthday with a 2 week bareboat charter. I researched many companies and found BVI Yacht Charters helpful and also well priced relative to other more well known brands. With BVI Yacht Charters my wife and I recently completed an 8 day cruise with 10 of our friends on Serenata, a 50 foot Saba sailing cat. We did the same trip with BVI Charters aboard a Saba 50 foot cat in 2019 and everyone had such a great time they let me know they wanted to repeat the trip. Our groups experience with BVIYC was first rate from the beginning to the end. I have used two other large charter companies on Tortola and had good experiences but felt it was time for a change. The inquiry, reservation process and checking in for our "sleep aboard"-all by the front office staff was great. This was my first time chartering a boat. BVI made it very easy and streamlined. The online boat checkout was very detailed and was able to be completed before leaving for the trip. They called the provisioning company for me when the boat was ready to receive. No issues with the boat during the charter, I did not have to contact them during the trip for assistance.
