MORE DETAILS ON SILVER GIRL
Silver Girl is a new for 2019 Jeanneau Yacht 54 that will appeal to performance sailing enthusiasts and is perfect for 6 guests plus sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests using the electrically convertible salon table that converts to a double bed. Silver Girl is the Performance Sailing Version of the Yacht 54, featuring a full batten Mylar-Taffeta X-Grid technology main sail and self tacking Jib for winch free, hands free tacking, with over 130 sq. ft. of additional Sail Area compared to the in-mast furling version for Enhanced Upwind and Downwind Speed and Performance. The deep draft keel offers superior upwind performance and added stability and the 3 Folding Blades Propeller offers a reduced drag while sailing. Her deep draft (7’4″) does mean that she cannot go to Anegada.
Each of the three cabins offer en suite electric flush toilet and separate shower. She is fitted with additional water tankage to allow for end of day showers for the entire crew. The forward sail locker is perfect for luggage stowage to eliminate taking up space in each cabin, and/or storage of those bulky fenders and dock lines while sailing or at a mooring.
The main salon features upgraded suede Alcantara fabric for increased comfort and luxury over the standard PVC fabric, and provides many nice touches of leather for drawer and locker pulls, bunk surrounds and cushioned headboards. The separate nav station contains an electric panel with switches, instruments and gauges to monitor all batteries, water, fuel and GenSet controls. 110V and 12V outlets abound along with USB ports, both low and high power to charge all your portable electronic gadgets.
The salon table can be raised/lowered electrically to provide the perfect lounging or dining height.
Cooks will appreciate the expansive galley that houses the apartment sized front loading SS fridge and separate roll out freezer below. The large Corian countertop, propane stove, double SS sink and lots of storage for dishes, utensils, pots, pans and an abundance of food storage will make your time on board as convenient as in your home. Why suffer inconveniences that other sailboats offer when you’re on the perfect sailing vacation?
The Forward Master Cabin features a Queen Bed and 2 lounging seats. There’s lots of storage for clothes in roll out soft close drawers and overhead bins and a lighted hanging locker. Separate A/C controls, subdued mood lighting, reading lamps plus hull port lights to permit viewing of your anchorage surroundings makes this an enjoyable space to pass away a cool and quiet afternoon at anchor. The en suite head features plenty of storage, an electric flush toilet, vessel lavatory and a separate H/C shower.
The comfortable port VIP aft cabin also has a Queen Bed, plenty of storage, subdued mood lighting, a hull port light, reading lamps, hanging locker and separate A/C controls. The en suite head with electric flush toilet features a vessel lavatory, separate H/C shower and plenty of storage for all your bathroom essentials.
The starboard aft cabin has twin beds that can be converted to a double, hanging locker, separate A/C controls and an en suite head with an electric flush toilet, vessel lavatory and shower.
The cockpit seats and sole are teak, and seat cushions abound. The fold out table leaves create a large table for up to 8, plus storage under for life jackets, sailing gear and incidentals. The twin helm consoles both contain Raymarine Hybrid Touch GPS chart plotters, auto helm controls and multi-function displays for wind speed, direction, depth and boat speed. All instruments are visible from either helm position. Engine controls are fitted to the starboard helm position.
Every aspect of the Jeanneau Yacht 54 Silver Girl is all-new and designed to fit the way you live, like no other yacht in her class. Never before seen solutions are found throughout, from the clever VIP interior layout to the spacious living cockpit and electrically foldable aft terrace and swim platform with large boarding ladder and H/C shower, every detail and function has been considered to enhance life aboard and maximize the cruising experience.

“Having questioned our sanity for chartering in the BVI during the world pandemic, the office crew eased our concerns, helped with the entry requirements, and made sure all the requirements were met on time! What a load off our minds. This was our ninth charter with BVIYC, and wouldn’t think of chartering with any other charter company. The office staff of Cassie, Kimmy and Abbie catered to our every need, and helped with all the sometimes confusing COVID requirements. The new facilities are top notch. Our boat, Silver Girl, a 54’ monohull was fantastic. Doubt you’d find a better equipped, more luxurious boat anywhere, and her condition was like new! And her sailing performance was way above expectations. Clearly one of the fastest, most comfortable boats available in the BVI. Special thanks to Anthony, the dock staff manager, who has an amazing knowledge of every aspect of Silver Girl’s sails, rigging and mechanicals. And the A/C was to die for, whether at the dock connected to shore power or on a mooring with the ultra quiet generator. An amazing experience all around!” – June 2021, Silver Girl
