What great experience. We Chartered 'That Way', a Beneteau 38.1 for 10 days. It was my first time Chartering in the BVI's and for a sailor, it was heaven. Constant 15 to 20 knot winds with plenty of places to seek shelter, anchor and go for a swim or paddle board. We arrived at the BVI Base in the dark, Anthony met us, the boat was in immaculate condition inside with the air-conditioning running, we couldn't have had a better greeting. The boat check out was thorough'a, raised the main, it didn't miss a point and the chart briefing was straight forward layman's talk. I recommend reading the Virgin Islands Cruising Guide if you can, it'll give you a great head start. I describe the BVI Charter to my friends as being onboard your own 5 Star floating hotel room and you're the reception/concierge desk, you make the decisions. The excellent condition of the Beneteau 38.1 contributed greatly to the trip. We had no mechanical problems and inside it was like new. Credit to the BVI Staff who go the extra effort with the interior, especially in the kitchen and heads, it is noticed and appreciated. We did the "BVI LOOP" .... Started at Norman Is., jumped from Wily T's, had a beer at the Cooper Is. brewery, sailed our way up to Virgin Gorda and finished off with a party and painkillers at White Bay, Josh Van Dyke. It was an awesome time. BVI Charters were great, the staff helpful and no question was too small. Thanks guys, Justin.
