Our experience with BVI Yacht Charters - indeed the whole BVI territory - far exceeded our expectations. It seemed that the entire population on all the islands was working together to make our trip smooth and memorable. The entire place is set up for sailors/cruisers. The BVIYC team in particular was incredibly genuine, kind, and helpful as we planned the trip, prepared the boat, navigated the islands, got COVID tests, and learned the ropes of sailing. They anticipated and met our every need. Their referrals to Dolphin Water Taxi and Riteway groceries were also excellent. The boat itself, Big Blue, was well equipped, spotlessly clean, and well cared for. We asked for extra pillows and were obliged without hesitation. We ordered supplementary items (guitar, floating mats, dinghy ladder) and they were in great shape. The lines, windlass, winches, electronics, and air conditioning all worked well. The charts and guidebooks, kitchenware, and itineraries were spot-on. Post-trip, we asked to explore other BVIYC boats so that we may have a better idea of the fleet and booking options for next time, and the crew, who were busily working on the boats, welcomed us into each cabin and pointed out the highlights. This was one of the most incredible trips our young family of four has EVER taken. We will never go back to Caribbean all-inclusive resorts knowing that quality, freedom, adventure, island charm, and great experiences like this exist and are readily available. We will definitely book with BVI Yacht Charters again. Thanks, team!
