This is our 4th charter in BVI over the last 25 years. The Ogibni is the finest vessel we've ever been on and we've chartered 2 other 45 foot catamarans, 1 in BVI the other in Belieze both with the Moorings. The Ogibni has awesome sitting / relaxing areas with a super spacious galley lounge area, the outdoor eating area large enough for 8 people comfortably, a lounge area just below the mainsail (which was a favorite hang out spot), and yet another area by the trampoline! The only difficulty is figuring out where you want to hang out! From the captains point of view it was fantastic to have all of the halyards and sheets right in front of the helm station. Made it real easy to instruct the crew which line to use and of course do it yourself is needed. The electric winch worked flawlessly and to be able to use it on the roller furling was a treat! With both sails up on a tight reach heading to Anegada we hit 10 knots and super smooth. I'd be remiss to not mention that the Ogibni has a water maker onboard which worked GREAT! On all previous charters we'd have to stop at a marina (always a little nerve wracking) to take on / pay for water as it's impossible for my crew of 7 to only use 180 gallons of water in 10 days. Face it that's 18 gallons a day - not much no matter how short a shower you take! We ran the watermaker each time we moored until we headed to bed and in the AM if necessary and never got below half a tank. I'll certainly be using BVI Yacht Charters for future vessels when we return to BVI!
