This was our second charter through BVI Yacht Charter, but the first time as captain. From the initial inquiry to checking back in at base, the entire process could not have gone smoother. The team at BVIYC answered all our questions online ahead of arriving in the BVI, and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Quinn, our charter for the week, was clean as a whistle and ready for us when we arrived. The walkthrough and chart briefing ran on schedule and soon we were off on our adventure. The BVI are coming along nicely post Irma/Maria and as mentioned often, everyone was so positive and welcoming. There's still plenty of rebuilding needed, but the vibe is great and most of the "usual haunts" are up and running. We visited Pirate's Bight at Norman, Cooper Island, Leverick Bay Marina, Potter's and Cow Wreck Beach on Anegada, Cane Garden Bay, JVD and Great Harbour on Peter Island....hoping to catch the Willy T at its new anchorage...which we didn't...only disappointment of the week...but gives us a reason to go back soon! As for Quinn, a 2017 Jeanneau 349, she was perfect all week handling everything we threw at her including some 25+ kt. days! The dingy OB did die on us unexpectedly, but once again BVIYC came through...they had the service crew out to us on Cooper within an hour with a replacement OB. We were back up and running and made it to happy hour! Just another example of their support and professionalism. We can't say enough good things about BVIYC and the BVI, and we can't wait to do it again! Thanks for everything BVI Yacht Charters!
