After 2 years delay from our initial booking we finally made it back to the BVI's with two couples and two teens aboard the Helia 44 "Going Coastal". Being our 12th BVI charter, with 3 top rated companies, we knew what to expect of the BVI's but this was our first charter with BVIYC. We could not have been more happy with their boats, great staff, and the simplicity and convenience they have built into their charter program. Every phone call or email during planning was promptly responded to by their onsite staff, and it was great to meet them all at the base. The 3 stateroom Helia 44 was appropriately, but not overly appointed with the needed cruising amenities, and there was an abundance of unused storage available. With our higher June temps our gang appreciated the quiet generator and air conditioning. The Helia has great helm and sail control functionality, and the davit was super easy to operate so we were never inclined to tow the dinghy. From here on BVIYC will be our first choice in charter companies and we regret not having tried them sooner.
