We've been back to work now for a few weeks and our sea legs are gone but we wanted to thank you for what we're calling our "BVI" (Best Vacation Imaginable!, clever right?). We were initially concerned about what we would find in Irma's aftermath, but we're so glad we came. The channel and all of the moorings were completely uncrowded, no waiting at restaurants and provisions were readily available. The boat was beautiful. 15 to 20 knot winds all day long, just like you told us. Our favorite overnight moorings were the Bight and Leverick Bay. A few dolphins even rode our bow for a while when sailing towards Cooper Island. When sailing we just set the autopilot and enjoyed the scenery. We had to alter course for another boat only once in a full week of sailing, try that on Long Island Sound. A few of the places we visited still showed signs of devastation, mostly beached boats and poor Willy T's, but the gorgeous scenery and friendly people we met at every island convinced us that things are improving at a great pace. We're already planning our next visit, so save a boat for us!
