First of all. When we arrived, it was Christmas Day, but everything was perfectly prepared by BVI Yachtcharters. Despite the holiday. Feeling good was the order of the day. Our first day started with shopping in the supermarket (Rite Way), which is within walking distance (15 minutes away). Then there was a hearty breakfast on board and we loaded the ship. After checking out in the office, we took off. Thanks to Chassie, Abbbie and Kelly for the great advice and really great support on all the issues we brought up in the office. And, also to the Marina Crew for the friendly support in all matters and even if it was just a bag of crushed ice :-). The boat Star of the Seas is also awesome, lots of space and everything is clearly arranged. There were three of us, but there is room for 8 people easily. I was able to manage the operation of the boat by myself. My two children (twins 12 years old) only needed help when they felt like it. Our journey took us from: Peter Island Great Harbor to Virgin Gorda Bitter End Yacht Club, a stop at The Baths is a must en route. From Bitter End it went to Jost van Dyke Great Harbour. On the way we stopped at Guana Island for snorkeling and cooking on board. Then we went to Norman Island The Bight Bay. Great for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. Unfortunately, the next day we went back further, but we stopped for snorkeling at Pelican Island and Indian Island. all in all it was an incredibly beautiful sailing trip. It is best for you to find out for yourself what you like best. Just one more tip, reserve seats in the restaurants at least one day in advance. I still have a lot to write about the beauty of the Caribbean and the good service from BVI Yachtcharters, but in Germany they say "probieren geht über studieren" "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" so book quickly ;-) Yours Frank
