BVI Yacht Charters is pleased to offer bareboats in St Martin, from our new base in Marigot Marina, the French side.
St Martin is the perfect progression after your first or second yacht charter in the BVI. Perfect for sailing, it has good winds, moderate seas and several short distance sails to fantastic spots such as Ile Pinel and Tintamarre, Anguilla or St Barts.
St Martin boasts upscale restaurants, pristine beaches, lively casinos, superlative snorkeling, diving and an eclectic blend of European and Caribbean Culture. A St Martin sailing vacation is trip to remember. Venture over to St Barts, St Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla. Enjoy the historic towns, shopping and stunning scenery each of these islands has to offer. The Leeward Islands offer the best of cruising, the natural beauty of sailing and the fun of going ashore to dine out or dance the night away.
The Leeward Islands that include the island of St. Maarten and St. Martin are constantly cooled by trade winds, so it's comfortable to visit them at any time of the year. The average temperature is 80 degrees F (26 °C) and rainfall totals an average of 45 inches (1143 mm) yearly. Winds are the Easterly Trades generally at 10 to 20 knots, lighter in the summer months, during the hurricane season, between August and September.
When chartering a yacht, there are a number of options open to you and at BVI Yacht Charters, we offer them all. Whether you're an experienced sailor looking for a bareboat monohull to tour the islands or just wish to kick back with the family and have someone else do all the work for you, we cater for everyone.
Prices displayed are based on 7 nights on board. Charters begin at 12 noon and end at 12 noon on your last day. We do offer the option to sleep aboard the night before your charter. Sleep aboards begin at 5pm.
Captain is $175 per night, Instructional Captain is $165, Chef $175 per night.
